Scenic Chairlift
 The Scenic Chairlift offers one of the most awe-inspiring views of the Great Smokies. The relaxing ride on the South's longest chairlift affords many spectacular photo opportunities. On top, your photo is taken and available to you at a small charge.

     The ride originates near the Customer Service office,  (Save money, get your Season Pass Here!) where the ride attendant will instruct you how to get safely seated, then lower your safety bar.  Just a short way up, you can see on your left the slope up to Bear Run!  A short way up on your right will be your 'photo-shoot' location!  You are about half way there!

     As you approach the top, a ride attendant will instruct you when it is safe to raise the safety bar, and exit the ride.  Grab a snack at our snack bar, then sit down, relax, and enjoy some of the most beautiful views of the Great Smoky Mountains and Gatlinburg, Tennessee!  Enter a coin into the 'high powered stationary binoculars" and see points of interest not available to the naked eye!  Note: Restrooms are available.

     When you are ready for your return trip, the ride attendant will again show you how to get safely seated, then lower your safety bar.  The ride down is actually better than the ride up, as you can see out far, and down towards the ski lodge (and Gatlinburg, Tennessee) right in front of you!  For a couple views looking DOWN from the Scenic Chairlift, click HERE!
